Underarm Sweating Hyperhidrosis
Underarm sweating hyperhidrosis is a condition characterized by abnormally increased sweating in excess of that required for regulation of body temperature.
Underarm Sweating Hyperhidrosis is treated with BOTOX® botulinum neurotoxin treatment helps control the symptoms of excessive sweating, when topical medicines do not work well enough by temporarily blocking the chemical signals from the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands. When the sweat glands don’t receive chemical signals, the severe sweating stops.
Treatment – BOTOX®
BOTOX® injections are expected to temporarily stop the production of excessive underarm sweating ihyperhidrosis. The effect can last up to seven months.
Do not repeat the treatment more often than every 16 weeks. BOTOX® neurotoxin treatment is not a cure; your symptoms will return gradually, and you will know when the time is right for another treatment.
